| I had heard a lot of negative things about this movie. But if one believes others views of movies, before seeing it themselves, now and again you loose. The movie was fantastic, absolutely fantastic. My husband and some friends watched it back to back and had many laughs. Please don't believe what others say check things out for yourself. |
A Nice Refuge from Ordinary Date Movies

I had been waiting for this movie to come out on DVD so I could see it. As huge Vince Vaughn fans, my fiance and I have loved all of his movies. Since my husband-to-be detests romantic comedies, I had high hopes that this would be the perfect blend of romantic comedy for me and classic, amusing Vince Vaughn for him.
It did not disappoint. It is a hilarious movie, and I reckon everyone can relate to at least one of the couples' situations. It is Vince Vaughn at his best. Yes, it is predictable in some ways and cheeky in others. But, it is light-hearted, amusing, and can appeal to a wide consultation, though I would not recommend it for family.
It is not a frat boy movie or cult classic, like Wedding Crashers, but it is a fantastic date movie, from the amusing lines to the corporal comedy. I reckon the cast was perfect for it, and you'll find yourself quoting some of the fantastic lines from the movie.
So remember, "be an ass" for Couples Refuge. :) |

| My husband & I went to see this movie for a date - a rare occurance and this point in our lives. We both loved the movie and had a fantastic time! Have since bought, and can't wait to watch it again. The cast was amusing and right to life, the scenery was wonderful and I thought the movie overall had a nice message for all married couples. I agree with another reviewer that there are parts that are not appropriate for kids....but a amusing movie for the rest of us. |

| My wife and I went and saw this in theaters and knew straight away it was a movie we needed to own. We now buy everything blu-ray since it's only a few dollars more and feature of video/audio is beyond doubt worth it. An avid blu-ray couple must of this in their pool! |
